The association’s aims include preserving and sharing Stirniene’s cultural heritage, bringing people together and raising awareness of the area.
The Latvian National Centre for Culture’s 2021 report names it as the applicant for the traditional psalm and funeral singing of Stirniene, included in Latvia’s National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage that year.
